Selahdore
Selahdore is the latest incarnation of creativity featuring Michael Wilson (lead vocals and guitar), Ross Hartwig (backing vocals and bass) & Sara Ginn (backing vocals and drums). In November 2005 Mike, Ross & Sara formed a 4 piece party band, called “Frank”, playing covers at parties, weddings, and a few pubs & clubs all around Hertford. After about 18 months, Frank split as it was felt creatively we were moving in different directions. Only a few months later, in the summer of 2007, Ross was asked to throw together a band for an event in Hertford, known as “Hertfest”. He called on Mike & Sara and an emergency band was formed: “Proof of Life”.
Proof of Life played a few more covers gigs, frequenting Number 11 Bar in Hertford, and began to explore writing their own material. In Easter of 2008, it was noted that Proof of Life was changing, beginning to express themselves with original music. Paul Lillie
Paul Lillie is one of the greatest Elvis tribute artists in the UK. Paul’s extensive repertoire includes stunning gospel arrangements, kitsch film soundtrack classics and intense soul songs from Elvis’s 1969 Memphis sessions. Guaranteed to get you up and dancing! The bass player for the Elvis show, who sometimes plays guitar for this band (guitar is his main instrument) will be on the drums on the night. This will be his first drum gig. But we are not worried at all about this. We all know that Lorenzo Defeo will be up to the job. He is a little boy wonder.
Jo Webb once played drums for this band. He also plays bass but he will be on guitar for this gig. He will also be the Sound Engineer for both bands on the night. Clever huh. Check out his originals band for some amazingly good music. Another boy wonder.
I will be playing keyboards. I have played keyboards before for the Elvis show and my main instrument is keyboards. You can only have so many boy wonders you know.
